All osteopaths are fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).


John is the principal osteopath at Oundle Osteopaths having started the practice in 1999, previously running a successful practice in Raunds.

Having completed a degree in psychology before qualifying from the British School of Osteopathy, John subsequently returned to lecture and tutor in osteopathic technique, clinical studies and sports injuries. He has been an evaluator for the General Osteopathic Council and an external examiner at various osteopathic establishments in the UK and abroad. He has a particular interest in sports injuries with experience in treating a range of athletes and sportsmen from elite to recreational.

John is registered as a provider of osteopathic care with most of the private medical companies.

Jo works using primarily structural techniques, such as soft tissue and manipulation.

Jo qualified from the BSO in 1987 and subsequently returned to lecture in osteopathic technique and to work as a clinic tutor for over ten years, before becoming an external examiner in osteopathic technique and clinical competence at various osteopathic education institutions both in the UK, Europe and New Zealand. She is also an examiner for the General Osteopathic Council.

Having chaired the maternity services liaison committee at Kettering General Hospital she has a special interest in treating back and pelvic pain in pregnant women, as well as all other spinal and joint conditions.

Jo practices in Oundle on Monday mornings and Thursday afternoons, with the remainder of her time spent at Kettering Osteopaths practice. She is registered as a provider of osteopathic care with most of the private medical companies.

Jody grew up in Northamptonshire and returned to practice here after qualifying from the British School of Osteopathy in 2000 with a BSc(Hons) in osteopathy. He was awarded the technique prize in his year. Jody is happy to treat all musculo-skeletal problems, including sports injuries.

He is at Oundle Osteopaths all day on Wednesdays and Fridays. Jody also practices at Kettering Osteopaths on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Carol qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 2001 after completing a four year BSc honours degree in osteopathy. She has worked in the Northamptonshire area since, joining our team in 2005.

As well as using a structural approach, Carol also uses cranial and fascially orientated techniques, and treats those patients requiring a much more gentle approach, such as the very young and very elderly or fragile patients. She works at Oundle Osteopaths on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Kettering Osteopaths on Mondays and Fridays. Carol is registered as a provider of osteopathic care with most of the private medical companies.

Sam has been part of our team at Oundle Osteopaths since 2010. She originally graduated with a BSc degree in Equine Sports Science, and then undertook a BETEC level 5 Diploma in Sport & Remedial Massage at the London School of Sports Massage. She has since completed a 5 year masters of Osteopathy program at the University College of Osteopaths (formerly the British School of Osteopathy) and is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

Sam has experience of working with athletes from a variety of sports, from the enthusiastic amateur to the professional athlete. She has experience in helping patients rehabilitate following trauma, and is happy to work on a structural basis, addressing a variety of musculoskeletal problems.

Anna graduated from the European school of osteopathy having completed a four year masters degree in osteopathy. She grew up in Northamptonshire and will be with us all day Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Anna is happy to treat all musculoskeletal conditions, including sports injuries. Her dissertation was on the management of acute ankle injuries, and in her spare time Anna goes to the gym to keep fit. She is a fluent speaker of Russian as well as English.
Chrissy studied at St Mary’s University Twickenham obtaining a degree in Sports & Exercise Science. She then trained at the London School of Massage obtaining ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology & Body Massage and subsequently ITEC Level 3 Sport Massage Therapy.

Chrissy uses massage therapy to treat a range of conditions. The treatment involves a range of techniques including; Soft tissue release, Deep friction and Neuromuscular techniques. Treatments are tailored to your individual sporting and everyday needs. Aftercare advice is always given where needed.

Chrissy works at Oundle Osteopaths on a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. N.B. Sport’s massage is also available on Saturdays. Whether you have a specific injury or just need a maintenance massage, Chrissy is happy to work with any level of athlete from competitive to recreational, or you may just be feeling the aches and pains of everyday life. She works closely with the osteopathic team to ensure the best treatment is given.

David uses Pure Hypnoanalysis to help people suffering from anxieties, fears and emotional problems as well as running stop smoking sessions. He is a member of the International Association of Pure Hypnoanalysts, the largest organisation of its kind in Europe. The association is dedicated to the professional and ethical use of hypnosis allied to the practice of psychoanalysis for the treatment of nervous disorders and emotional problems.

David has also taught and tutored in Psychology and have advised in the use of personality types in recruitment, as well as giving talks to local groups in addition to being featured on BBC Radio Northampton. Helen first encountered Acupuncture and Shiatsu through the practice of Taijiquan and Qigong. Her practice of these internal martial arts not only helped her with her chronic back pain, but also created an understanding of the foundations of Chinese Medicine. After working in respiratory product development for 6 years, Helen decided to re-train and over several years obtained professional diplomas in Zen Shiatsu and Traditional Chinese Medical (TCM) Acupuncture. Helen followed up her UK training with further training at a leading TCM hospital in Hangzhou, China. Helen is also qualified to use Sports Massage, Cupping Therapy and Electro-Acupuncture and regularly incorporates these into her treatments if appropriate.

Helen has full membership with the Acupuncture Association and the British Acupuncture Federation. She is a committed practitioner who is always developing herself professionally so that she can provide the best possible care for her patients.

Helen is experienced at helping patients manage these painful conditions. Many of her patients seek her help with a number of issues that are not responding well to medication alone.

Originally from Russia, Sasha comes form a background of teaching aerobics and fitness over the last 25 years. Having trained in London to teach STOTT Pilates, she set up her studio in Oundle in 2016, and is now offering her services at Oundle Osteopaths.

Sasha specialises in helping clients with either one to one or couples/ duet sessions. She focuses on optimal musculoskeletal performance of strength, flexibility, and endurance, without risking injury or building bulk. She will help clients to achieve specific goals through the stabilization of the core muscles, shoulder and pelvic girdle, natural alignment, balance, coordination and breathing. This works to reduce the stress and tension in the back, neck and shoulders and thereby helps reduce pain in these areas.

Sasha offers either an individual or a duet (2 people) training program tailored specifically to your individual needs using professional equipment such as the Reformer, Cadillac, Ladder Barrel and small props. Her aim is to help you feel revitalized, confident, looking younger and fitter and moving with ease.
